
Heather Claffey, MSN, FNP-C, grew up in Glendale, Arizona, where she graduated summa cum laude after concurrently earning an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Northern Arizona University. After practicing as a registered nurse for several years, Heather sought to make a greater impact in healthcare and went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Prior to her nursing career, Heather owned and operated a thriving private massage therapy practice for 14 years, working extensively with professional athletes. These diverse professional experiences give her a unique perspective that blends traditional medical care with holistic approaches to health and wellness.
Heather is passionate about helping people achieve optimal health and believes wellness is built on foundational elements such as stress management, proper nutrition and hydration, quality sleep, and regular physical activity. She prioritizes listening carefully to her patients and values collaboration, working together to create personalized, patient-centered care plans. Heather is committed to identifying root causes and emphasizes preventive medicine and sustainable lifestyle changes.
Outside of her practice, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors with her two dogs, Cash and June, exploring all that Central Oregon has to offer. Her additional interests include gardening, baking, and painting.
