Dr. Day is a native of CT. She attended Hamilton College where she graduated with a degree in Biochemistry, met her husband of 17 years and graduated in 1994. She went on to University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry for her medical degree and then completed her combined residency at Tufts University. After graduation, she moved to Port Townsend where she started her medical practice and where she and her husband started an artisan cheese making business, The Mt Townsend Creamery.

Dr. Day loves caring for patients of all ages. She has special interest in adolescent medicine and managing children of all ages with complex medical and psychological needs. ” I love caring for infants from birth and then following them through their entire growth and development. Caring for adults as well allows me to seamlessly assist in children’s transition to adulthood without any interruption in their care. In addition, I love caring for parents and grandparents as this gives me the family context to provide truly patient-centered care”

When Dr Day is not at work, she loves doing just about anything outdoors. Since arriving in Bend in June 2014, Dr Day, her husband Matt, and their two sons have been biking, hiking and paddle-boarding as much as they can. As avid Nordic and downhill skiers, they can’t wait for winter.
