Amro Elgeziry, MD grew up in Cairo, Egypt. He completed medical school at Ain Shams University College of Medicine in 2010. He practiced medicine in Egypt for a couple of years as a general practitioner and as a resident in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Dr. Elgeziry served five years of active duty in the U.S. Army from 2016 to 2021. He completed his residency training at Samaritan Family Medicine in Corvallis/Newport, Oregon, in June 2025.
He was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by his mother, a pharmacist, and his brother, an orthopedic surgeon. He chose family medicine as his specialty because he believes it offers a unique opportunity to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities through trust and continuity of care.
Dr. Elgeziry’s professional interests include caring for the geriatric population, managing acute and chronic conditions, preventive medicine, and performing office-based procedures.
Outside of work, he enjoys taking part in the many outdoor activities the Pacific Northwest has to offer, skiing, traveling to new destinations, and engaging with sports, both playing and following them.
