Originally from Whidbey Island, Washington, Alicia received her Bachelors from the University of Washington.  Following graduation she moved to Bend, which was one of favorite places to visit growing up. It was here, where she worked as a medical assistant, that she realized her love of medicine and working with people to promote a healthy lifestyle. Alicia received her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in 2008.  She was a Hospitalist and practiced peri-operative medicine at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, for 8 years.

Alicia returned to Bend in 2015, with her husband and 2 daughters, to enjoy the amazing outdoor lifestyle that Central Oregon offers.  Since her return, she has been practicing family and urgent care medicine. She enjoys working collaboratively with patients to develop healthcare plans that work best for their medical needs and lifestyle. She believes that getting to know the patient is integral in having successful outcomes and that utilizing positive lifestyle changes are an important part of preventative medicine.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys mountain biking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, running, and exploring Central Oregon with her family.
