During her childhood, Jamie Freeman traveled to Bend for all of the recreational opportunities. In 2006, she joined High Lakes Health Care from Silverton and says “I feel lucky to be able to live and practice in this amazing town!” Interested in working with patients of all ages, she received her state Physician Assistant license in 2003, and has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. “I enjoy helping people achieve their optimal health and overall well-being. She completed her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2003, after having received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon in 1998. Jamie strives to offer the highest quality health care to her patients, and says “knowing how dynamic medicine is, I embrace the need to maintain the most recent knowledge on disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.”
Jamie has done several projects in community service, including help with the Special Olympics, Make a Difference Day, and the Head Start Program. In addition to those programs she worked with the Peaceworks Medical Group providing medical care to villages in the central region of Honduras. She lives with her young son and husband in a home they remodeled together.
