Dr. Kellen Mandehr grew up in Newton, MA in the Metro Boston area. He completed medical school at Michigan State University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022 after completing his undergraduate degree in Human Biology at University of California, San Diego in 2012. Between undergraduate and medical school, he completed a Master’s in Medical Sciences at Boston University School of Medicine. He worked as a professional ski patrol in Park City, UT and as a professional ocean lifeguard in San Diego, CA. After medical school, Dr. Mandehr completed residency in Family Medicine at Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, OR as a Chief Resident. Dr. Mandehr’s practice interests include sports medicine, procedures, pediatrics, and preventative medicine.
Dr. Mandehr is excited to be living in Central Oregon with his wife, Amanda, and their dog, Barklay. He spends much of his free time outside riding bikes and skiing. Growing up, he was a competitive swimmer before competing as a college level rower. He loves to stay active any way he can. He loves catching summer concerts at the amphitheater and watching movies. He looks forward to learning about his new community in Bend and finding more hobbies to diversify his life experiences.
