Dr. Spencer Larson is coming to us from Southern California. Growing up in Portland, OR, he has fond memories of his time visiting Central OR as a child and couldn’t wait to return. For his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!) where he majored in Biology and was named valedictorian. He also studied the Italian language and spent a summer abroad in Florence, Italy. From there, he went to Creighton University School of Medicine where he grew to love the intricacies of Internal Medicine while getting married and enjoying all that Omaha, Nebraska had to offer, especially the college world series of baseball. He spent the last three years completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Harbor-UCLA, a county hospital in Los Angeles. He is excited to be returning to Oregon to raise his two boys and share with them all the great outdoors has to offer.
An outgoing physician, Dr. Larson takes pride in ensuring he delivers the most up-to-date and comprehensive care possible. He likes to spend time focusing on preventative medicine, counseling and educating patients on a healthy lifestyle to prevent diseases from occurring. Dr. Larson also loves the challenge of diagnosing and managing complex medical patients so that they may have the best outcomes.
Dr. Larson spends his free time being active with family and friends. He loves cooking new recipes, playing tennis, golf, and exercising. He is looking forward to honing his skiing and fishing skills in the near future.
