Fran Stier is a Board -certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has been working as a traveling NP for 13 years. She received a Master’s degree and Adult Nurse Practitioner certificate from University of Virginia and a Post- Master’s FNP certificate from George Washington University. Her home residence is Tucson, Arizona…. She calls it “Base camp”.

Fran has worked in remote villages, National Parks, Indian Health Services and several Community Health clinics throughout Alaska, Montana, Arizona and New Mexico. Prior to becoming a Family NP, Fran worked as an Adult and Acute Care NP specializing in Cardiology. She was a cardiology provider at the Sarver Heart Center, University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, and other cardiology practices in Arizona.

Fran has a vast experience in managing complex medical problems and chronic illnesses such as Heart disease, Diabetes, and Lung disorders. She also provides care for urgent illnesses and all ages.

Fran is very excited to have an opportunity to work in Oregon. An avid fly fisher, Fran is the “Nurse Practitioner on the Fly…anywhere there’s a River” and Oregon has the rivers!
