Christy Farleigh is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. An Oregon native, she graduated from Oregon State University in 2008 and shortly after realized she wanted to pursue a career in Nursing. She and her husband moved to Birmingham, Alabama, for her undergraduate Nursing studies and following graduation, she spent time as a Nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital while pursuing her graduate degree in Family Medicine.
After completing her graduate program from Samford University in 2013, she spent time working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a rural Community Health Clinic providing care for a wide variety of conditions to patients of all ages. Christy’s areas of interest are chronic disease management, women’s health and preventative medicine. She strongly believes in the importance of developing a respectful, trusting and compassionate relationship with her patients to work together to improve their health and well-being.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, two young children and two labs. Together they are an active family that loves outdoor activities, especially boating, and traveling. She looks forward to being a part of your health care team.
