Specializing In

  • Internal Medicine

Dr. Garrett grew up on a lake in southern Maine and has had an interest in medicine since she was a young girl. She graduated from Wheaton College (IL) in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She went on to study Medicine at Tufts University where she developed a passion for primary care. Dr. Garrett recently finished her residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts- a Harvard Medical School affiliate. During residency, she had the opportunity to spend time providing medical care with the Indian Health Service at Warm Springs Health and Wellness Center.

Dr. Garrett loves being a general internist because it allows her to practice a broad scope of medicine and serve her patients on a longitudinal basis. She has a passion for women’s health and weight management, and is also pursuing a specialization in osteoporosis care and prevention.

Dr. Garrett is excited to join the team at High Lakes because of the high value they place on patient care and clinical excellence. A lifelong resident of the East Coast, Dr. Garrett fell in love with a Bend Senior High School alum and found Bend to be the perfect place to call home after her very first visit. When Dr. Garrett is not practicing medicine she enjoys spending time with her new husband, Kellen, and their regal, red golden retriever, Chief, in the beautiful mountains of Central Oregon.
