Dr. Jeness Christensen is board certified in internal medicine since 1998. She attended medical school in the Philippines on full scholarship, then completed her internal medicine residency in New Jersey, where she was voted Resident of the Year. She has worked at an internal medicine faculty at the Atlantic City Medical Center and later spent five years as a primary care internist in Raleigh, North Carolina. In 2005 she moved to central Oregon to be closer to family.

She has a focus on primary care practice, with a wide range of interest that includes preventative health, well-woman exams, women’s health issues, diabetes, hypertension, abnormal cholesterols, pre-operative evaluation to reduce post operative complications and more. She has a strong emphasis on total patient care, which includes lifestyle modification and blending the patient’s personal beliefs and practices with evidence-based medicine.
