Emily Harris-Deutch has worked as a board certified family nurse practitioner since 2011. She received her undergraduate degree from McGill University in Montreal and her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Seattle University.
Emily has spent her career working in general primary care and women’s health and performs a variety of office based procedures such as intrauterine device insertion and removal, Nexplanon implant insertion and removal, endometrial biopsies and skin biopsies.
In addition to providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, Emily has particular interests in women’s health, adolescent health, travel medicine and headache management. Emily feels lucky to have such a fulfilling career that allows her to truly participate in the community she loves. As a primary care provider Emily values and encourages active participation of the patient in a partnership to improve and maintain health. She strives to be an advocate for patients and provide individualized care by getting to know people.
An Oregon native, Emily is thrilled to be practicing in Bend and appreciates the amazing quality of life that Central Oregon provides. Outside of work she enjoys mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowboarding, traveling, camping and live music.
