Julia Brant grew up in northern Virginia, a few minutes outside of Washington, DC. She migrated west for college and completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at Azusa Pacific University in 2020. Throughout college, Julia became heavily involved in the outdoor adventures club, where her passion for backpacking and rock climbing sparked. Taking students on weekend get-away trips, Julia discovered how rewarding it is to help someone overcome their fears and discover something new about themselves. This skill translated into her desire to help empower her patients to take control of their health and understand their bodies better.
After college, Julia moved to the pacific northwest where she worked as a medical assistant for our Shevlin Park clinics. Her passion for primary care blossomed as she witnessed the need for and the importance of effective primary care providers in patients’ lives. Julia decided to pursue her medical career further and went on to graduate from George Fox University’s Physician Assistant program.
With a background in Kinesiology, Julia is passionate about treating orthopedic injuries and helping patients get back to the activities they love. Julia’s medical interests also include women’s health, geriatrics, and mental health. In her free time, Julia enjoys reading, hiking, paddle boarding, and skiing.
